A day of friendship, style, and fun awaits! Enjoy lunch, mingle, and earn about the history of handbags from guest speaker Judith Coebly. Additionally, we will be fundraising by selling a beautiful collection of new and vintage handbags.
Cost to attend is $50 for Patrons and $100 for Benefactors.
Judith Coebly is a retired educator in Dearborn. She is a member and officer of the George W. Lee Civil War Round Table – an organization for the preservation, restoration and education of Civil War history. She is a member and state president of the Michigan State Organization of The Questers – an international organization for the preservation and restoration of history: its existing memorials, historical buildings, landmarks and antiques. She participates in the Brighton Historical Society by displaying her historical collections in the Brighton Area Museum and working on the Old Village Cemetery Restoration Project. She researched and published a self guided walking tour of the graves of Civil War veterans in that cemetery. Her interest in history and preservation extends to participating in the Livingston Model A’s as the current secretary and the Lyon One Room Schoolhouse as an educational liaison with local elementary schools. Judith also contributes to the collections and displays at the McGulpin Point Lighthouse in Mackinaw City.
